The career that I chose for my first experience in the university is Social Work. One of the reasons for this choice is because the kind of practice that the career offers related with core investigations.When you finish your second year of studies you can choose one of the meta cores.
There are lots of topics about social phenomena, for example, people that are deprived of freedom, or social movements, territory, and others.
When I had to choose one of them, I knew exactly where I wanted to work. The Gender Core, in which you can find the Memory project.
So along the year, I have been working in this proyect, searching the relationship betwen the memory of female activism and struggles in the local political transition.
It has been a very interesting experience, I have gained a lot of knowledge. Also, the work team that has been working with me is full of extraordinary people. I think I´m very grateful for all the things that we have built.
